Accessibility refers to the degree to which the environment, products, and services

are accessible to people with disabilities.

Barrier-free design solely focuses on providing access to individuals with disabilities.

The goal of barrier free design is to provide an environment that supports the independent functioning of individuals so that they can get to, and participate without assistance, in every day activities.

A well-designed Barrier Free environment which is safe, convenient, comfortable, and readily accessible benefits everyone.

Barrier-free features are now becoming fundamental to all design concepts.
